3 Ways to Help: EACM COVID-19 Response

As events are canceled and businesses close their doors, the emergency needs in our community have exploded. EACM is here to meet those needs head-on. Here are three ways that you can help:

This gives EACM the most flexibility as we respond to the ever-changing circumstances on the ground. It also reduces possible exposure to or transmission of COVID-19.

Checks made out to Eastern Area Community Ministries may be mailed to:
PO Box 43049, Louisville, KY 40253

Our neighbors are in urgent need of food and personal items from our pantry. To help everyone reduce the risk of exposure, we have parking lot drop-off in place. When you arrive at the EACM parking lot, call 502-426-2824 ext. 312 and someone will come out to pick up your donation. EACM is located in the lower level of John Knox Presbyterian Church, 9104 Westport Rd.

The items we need MOST are: cereal, canned tomato products, canned fruit, dried potatoes, beef stew, canned beans, crackers, and personal hygiene items. (We are well-stocked on these items: rice, pasta, peanut butter, mac & cheese.)

There are a variety of needs for volunteers, and we are working with our parent organization - the Association of Community Ministries - to meet these needs. Those who are interested can fill out the application below. You have the option to stay in the EACM service area or make yourself available in other parts of town that may have more urgent needs.
